Inventory, vendors, purchases, and files

Maintain product identity, category, unit, HSN/SAC, tax rate, cost, price, stock rules, and archive status. Use batches for traceability and expiry where applicable.

Review low-stock and expiry alerts regularly. Confirm physical stock before purchasing or adjusting. Record inventory adjustments with an accurate reason; do not use them to hide an incorrect sale or purchase.

  1. Create or select the vendor.
  2. Draft the purchase order with expected quantity, cost, and tax.
  3. Record receipt against the actual invoice.
  4. Confirm invoice date, place of supply, GST details, batches, and quantities.
  5. Review stock movement and vendor balance.

Use the product or vendor return workflow so stock, financial records, and audit history stay aligned.

Upload invoices and supporting documents to the correct business and record. Preview the file before attaching it to a workflow. Do not upload passwords, OTPs, API secrets, or unrelated personal documents.
